Nowadays, young generation is very happy to drink Energy Drinks, they believe that by drinking it, the body gets instant energy and they do study and parties without getting tired.

This may be true, but energy drinks also have many side effects. This can cause great harm to your health.

A research has revealed this, Teenagers and youth usually consume more energy drinks. The need of the time is to make them aware about what effect energy drinks have on their body. Energy drinks contain high levels of caffeine, taurine and other stimulants, and their side effects have always been debated.
Energy drinks contain about 100 milligrams of caffeine per liquid ounce, which is eight times more than regular coffee. Coffee contains 12 milligrams of caffeine per fluid ounce. All the health risks in energy drinks are due to the high amount of sugar and caffeine present in it.

Reasons to Reject Energy Drinks

Caffeine Dependence

It is common that the amount of caffeine is mixed in an energy drink. Drinking Energy Drinks does not know the amount of caffeine in our body. Once the body is addicted to caffeine, then other problems can also arise. So not drinking it is a better option.

Increasing sugar

Sugar is found in plenty in energy drinks. A drink contains about 13 teaspoons of sugar, which increases the sugar level in the body, leading to a variety of serious problems. Its intake also affects dehydration, effect on immune system, bad teeth etc.

Impact on Mood

Studies have shown that drinking Energy Drinks has an effect on the mood of the person and keeps his mood swerving. With this, serotonin is reduced by making the body feel good, due to which the person becomes depressed or his mood is uprooted.

Sleeplessness

Drinking an energy drink can cause problems due to more energy even at night. Body and mind are tired but do not sleep due to which there is confusion. People who consume energy drinks every day often face such a problem.

Stress on the Limbs

Consumption of energy drink causes stress on all the parts of the body as they get tired and they cannot get rest. If you want to make the body healthy and happy, then do not consume too much energy drink.

Also, people who drink Energy Drinks with alcohol, they drink more alcohol under its effect. Drinking alcohol cannot be detected due to consuming energy drinks, by which people are motivated to drink more.

A study has revealed that people who take more energy drinks at short intervals of time, the rhythm between their heart beats increases slightly compared to others. If there is a difference in the speed of the heartbeat, then there is a greater risk of the heart becoming irregular. Padma Shri Dr. K.K. Aggarwal President of Heart Care Foundation of India (HCFI) says that consuming more than two energy drinks can damage the heart and can lead to conditions such as arrhythmia or abnormal heart rhythms. In this case, the heart rate is either too fast or too slow.

Energy drinks are particularly harmful for people under 18, pregnant women, caffeine-sensitive people, those prescribed for ADHD, such as Eder, etc.
